Building Highways and Roads to Keep Ontario Moving

Doug Ford and our Ontario PC team are investing more than $31 billion to build, expand and repair highways, roads and bridges across the province, reducing gridlock, shortening commute times and keeping people and goods moving.

From the Bradford Bypass and Highway 413 to critical highway improvements in northern, eastern and southwestern Ontario, we’re building the infrastructure needed to connect communities, improve road safety and support Ontario’s growing economy.

These investments are part of our plan to protect Ontario by:

Reducing gridlock and commute times by expanding highways and improving traffic flow.

Creating thousands of good-paying jobs through major infrastructure projects that support Ontario workers and businesses.

Connecting communities by making it easier for people to get to work, access housing and travel across the province.

Strengthening our economy by improving the movement of goods and keeping Ontario competitive.

Major projects include Highway 413, the Bradford Bypass, improvements to Highways 400 and 401, the widening of Highway 17 and the expansion of Highway 7 between Kitchener and Guelph.

At a time of global economic uncertainty and unfair U.S. tariffs, building Ontario’s highway network is more important than ever. These projects will create jobs today while supporting a stronger, more competitive and self-reliant economy for generations to come.

While others stood in the way of building critical infrastructure, Doug Ford and our Ontario PC team are getting it done. We’re building the highways, roads and bridges Ontario needs to keep drivers safe, get families home faster and keep our economy moving.
